His Excellency Mr Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan
On the occasion of the Republic Day of Azerbaijan, I have the special pleasure to send to you and the people of Azerbaijan, the most sincere congratulations on behalf of the Albanian people and in my personal name!
I would like to remind you more about our meeting in Baku in March and your warm and friendly hospitality and, on the occasion, allow me, Your Excellency, to confirm you again for my continued commitment to the further enrichment of very good and friendly relations which exits between Albania and Azerbaijan.
I would also like to emphasize especially the gratitude for Azerbaijan’s support to TAP and IAP pipeline projects, through which Albania is part of the important network of energy corridors, and to express the conviction that the successful implementation of this project opens new opportunities for cooperation between our countries, in different fields with mutual interest.
